Bird Walk at Sandy Hook

Twenty (!) of us gathered at Sandy Hook for an early Spring walk led by Mark and Karen Silva. It was a wonderful spring day for bird watching. We took our usual walk along the bike path to the “Road to Nowhere.” Then we walked over to Horseshoe Cove. Finally we returned to the bike path and looped back to Guardian Park. Here’s a list of birds we saw / heard:

Warblers: American Restart, Yellow, Black-and-White, Common Yellowthroat, Northern Parula, Blackpoll, Canada, Magnolia
